Pastor (Mrs) Queen Elizabeth Agwu has written a letter to the government of Ebonyi State for the downward review of the salaries of NYSC member in the medical field in view of the dwindling economic realities of the country.
Hitherto, corper doctors get paid N130k monthly while corper pharmacist and nurses get N91k and N79k monthly respectively. But with this new recommendation, it will crash to N15k for doctors and N5k fir pharmacists and nurses. The recommendation got to the office of the state government last week and should be approved any moment from now if it hasn’t been approved already.
