The girl who accused late Audu’s children of gang rape looks set to get justice

Social media has again proven to be a powerful tool if well utilized. Few days ago, some of the sons of the late governorship aspirant of APC in the recently held guber election in Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, were accused of rape by one “Sugabelly.”

On her blog today, she published a detailed post about the incident that took place around 2007 and the post didn’t only catch fire on Twitter and it went so viral that it got the attention of the former minister of education, Oby Ezekwesili, and activists, Funmi Iyanda and Kayode Ogundamisi.

They all stepped into the case and Ezekwesili later discovered that she is a friend to the girl’s mother. Foremost lawyer, Chief Afe Babalola (SAN) has also been informed about the allegations and in no time, justice is expected to be served.
