Today, Gov. Ayodele Fayose distributed rams to Muslims in the state, for the celebration of this year’s Id-El-Kabir. The Assistant Secretary of League of Imams and Alfas in the state had earlier ordered Muslims in
the state not to collect rams and other food items for Sallah celebration, if presented to them in any form by the government.

However, their General Secretary, in a counter-statement ordered Muslims in the state to ignore the ban on Sallah’s gift….. over 1 million rams were distributed today. D remaining 2 million will b distributed tomorrow…..
