Australian authorities finally reveal the identity of the Nigerian man arrested with $10 million worth of illicit drugs

Yesterday, I brought you the news that a Nigerian man is facing life in jail after being arrested with methamphetamine concealed inside a goldfish statue shipped in from China. He is Jackson Igwebuike, 32. He appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court today. He entered no plea and did not apply for bail.

He arrived in Australia in July on a student visa. He is a graduate of the University of Benin, Edo State. He went to Australia for his masters degree at the University of Canberra. ACT Police allege that more drugs and similar statues were found during a search of his house.
