Mile 2 robbery kingpin gets arrested

Timothy Ojomandu was arrested at about 7:30 pm over the weekend. He is alleged to be a member of a 3-man gang that attack and rob motorists inside traffic around Mile 2, Lagos. He didn’t know that
the driver saw him, through the side-mirror, sneaking into his truck that was fully loaded with cell batteries. While inside, he passed one carton to his partner.                                                             That was when the driver alighted, caught him and handed him over to the police. Ojomandu said he was a bus conductor before Victor Chibonwu recruited him into the group about 2 months ago. He also disclosed that one Mr. Gawo, who owns many shops at Tin-Can Island, Apapa, is the one that buys the stolen goods from them.
