Police arrest traffickers with 26 children in Ogun State

Zainab Ahmed, 18, Aisha Abdulahi, 55, and Zuliat Abdulmali, (45), were arrested on Sunday at a motor park at Ibafo following a tip-off from some residents of the area while they were trying to transport the victims, comprising of 25 girls and one boy between the ages of 8 and 10, to Lagos.

They claimed they’re taking the children to Lagos for menial jobs. Ogun State commissioner of police, Abdulmajid Ali, however said due diligence will be carried out to ensure they are not intended to be used as suicide bombers particularly now that there have been alert of threats of insurgency.
